What is an Event, how is it different than Products and Courses?

Events are activities such as seminars, conferences, classes, webinars, lectures, etc. for which you have people register. Events are different than Products or Courses in that they take place at a specific date, time and location and most often collect a registration fee as part of the registration process. All these elements: dates, times, fees and much more are all set in the Event Object Editor.

Events Objects can be displayed using a variety of what we call “Event Display Methods.” It is good to know what the different methods are that are available, so you can understand better where the system will display the information you enter into the Event Editor.
