Importing Contacts - Categorize Contacts on Import

Overview: Categories can be an important way to organize and find  your contacts in Full Partner. Think of Categories as labels. These labels can be assigned to contact records to help create lists and sub-lists. 

Once a contact record is assigned a category, you can run a query type list to create to view, export as well as to send emails to.

If you need to categorize your import, please go to Marketing Automation / Categories and create any Categories you may need before import.

After ensuring that any needed categories have already been created:

  • You can bulk add an entire import file to a pre-created Category via a checkbox window at Import.
  • Or you can assign multiple categories per record at import via adding a Column to your import file and adding in the category id(s).
