Assign the Featured Image to a Blog Post

Location: Blog Management/Posts/New or Edit a Post -> Featured Image Section

Overview: 

• The default blog displays uses the Featured Image as the image to display on the main blog index page.
• It is a good idea to always add a Featured Image to your blog post.
• If you do not have a Featured Image assigned to your post, you can set a default to roll back to in the Blog Editor,  Featured Image section. Often this image might be your website logo. (See here: How to Edit Blog Settings.)

Summary of Steps: 

1. Visit the Featured Image section of your post editor.
2. Click Find to bring up the Image Finder.
3. Find and select, or upload the image your wish to use for the Featured Image.
4. It can be the same or a different image than you have in your blog post.
