Post By Line and Other Options
Location: Blog Management/Posts/New or Edit a Post -> Options Section
Overview:
In the Options section you will find:
- Byline -What is entered here will show as the by line in your post display.
- TrackBack Links (rarely used), this is a way to link two different blog posts together. Typically, the second blog post is related in topic to the one you have written, but authored and published on another bolgger's site. It is designed as a way to help drive traffic to your blog.
- Owner - If needed, you can assign editing rights to a limited access account manager contact by assigning ownership to that contact.
- Date Written - This is more of an internal date reference field. We have a Publish date located in the Publish section which is typcially the more useful date field.
