Blog Post Excerpt Section

Location: Blog Management/Posts/New or Edit a Post -> Excerpt Section

Overview:  Most Blogs are set to automatically show the first few hundred text characters, or "subset" of the body in the General Section on the main Blog Index page. However, you may want to override this in the Blog Settings Display Method handler and use the Excerpt instead.

If you are using the Excerpt for your default Blog display than you would need to put that content here in the Post Excerpt Section. If you are not sure what your blog display uses, Visit the Blog Editor/Appearance Section - (See here: How to Edit Blog Settings.)
