Course Item and Pricing Setup Overview

Location:  Learning Management/Courses/Course Editor -> Course Items Section

Overview: The Course Items section of the Course Editor is where you set the course pricing settings along with other settings that relate to purchasing a course through the shopping cart.

In the Course Items section you can set the following:

• Regular Retail and Discount Pricing and Pricing Payment Options
• An Online Registration Cut-off Date
• An Advanced Price with a Cut-off Date (Note covered in more detail under Ecommerce Course under the Offering Discounts on Products Chapter)
• Member Group based Discounts (Note covered in more detail under Ecommerce Course under the Offering Discounts on Products Chapter)
• The Item Number and Item Description which shows in the Full View Item table and Shopping Cart and Check Out pages
• Inventory, or limit the amount of “Seats”

Note: the Course Editor/Items Section may look a bit different in your editor, however the location for the above settings are all still found within this section.
