Categorizing Events is Essential For List Views

Overview:  Use Categories to group your Events together. This can be especially useful for using the Basic Information List View Display.

Summary: Categorizing Events can be a very important tool for your overall Events Management protocol in Full Partner for many reasons:

• Categories are an important way to group similar objects, such as the same venues or types of events together.
• A Query Type list based on a common Category assignment is the simplest way to accomplish creating a List of Events, and is in fact the most common way to display a page listing of Upcoming Events.
• It is easy to create and assign Categories, and once you assign them to an Event, they will duplicate over when you duplicate that Event—possibly saving you time.
• Removing a Category can be one way to remove an Event from a List Display without having to delete it.
