Limit Visibility Of A Course Item

Location:  Learning Management/Courses/Course Editor/Course Items Section  -> "Visible To" Drop Down

Overview:  Set visibility of an Course at the Item level.

Note: In the following video we use and refer to an Event object for demonstration. Please note that the Items Section is identical for Events and Courses so the steps and information are exactly the same. 

Summary of Steps: 

Set visibility of an Course at the Item level per below guidelines:

1. If you want anyone to be able to register for the Course or Course Item, set to “Public and Administrator” (this is the default).
2. If you want to limit registrations for an Course or an Course Item to Back End Orders, you can set the to “Administrators Only.”
3. If for any reason you do not want anyone to register for a specific Course Item, set the visibility to “None.”
