How to Assign a Teacher to a Course |
Location: Learning Management/Courses/Course Editor -> Teachers Section
Overview: Associating a contact into the Teacher section of a course will create a Teacher Course Record and designate the contact as a teacher for that course.

A Teacher Course Record designates a contact as a teacher for a course.
This teacher designation will show in the classroom to the students when they are utilizing Dropbox, Messaging, Teacher’s Directory, and a few other locations within the classroom where the teacher is referenced.
The Teacher Course Record also tells the system who to send notifications to –when the notification settings are enabled for various functions within the course and module level settings.
These settings may be set to include sending a system notification email to the teacher in any of the following situations:
You can assign any number of contacts to be designated as teachers for a course. In the case where there is more than one teacher assigned to a course, the system will reference and send to notifications to all teachers assigned to the course.
Note if your teachers will need to have a limited amount of course and student management access, such as viewing submited docuemtns, you will also need to add the Learning Management System (LMS) Teacher Role to thier contact record in the Account Manager Access Section of the Contact Editor.
