How to Send a Private Message to an Individual Student in a Course

Learning Management/Courses Finder/View Mode of the Course -> Messages Section is where you can utilize the Classroom’s internal messaging system to send private messages to individual students within the course.

  1. Click the New Message Button
  2. Select the radio button next to Selected Student an Open the menu to select the student’s name
  3. Add a subject
  4. Type your message
  5. Click send

All messages will be archived in a list in the messages section of the course.

The screenshot you see here is what a limited account access teacher would see in their account manager view. The location for the above task can also be found in the same location for full access site account administrators as well. Note that the full account administrator would however have more options for editing and viewing in multiple finder locations that may not be available to limited account access teachers.
