How to Deny Further Course Access to a Student

Learning Management/Courses Finder/View Mode of the Course/General Section/View Mode of the Student Course Record

Occasionally there may be a need to keep a student registered but deny access to a course.

To deny access to a student, regardless if they are registered or unregistered:

  1. Click once on Student Course Record to view it
  2. In view mode of the student course record, click the Edit button
  3. In the Student Course Record editor, review the settings in the Student Can Access Course Content settings
  4. Click the radio button next to the option: No Further Access
  5. Click the Save and Close button

The screenshot you see here is what a limited account access teacher would see in their account manager view. The location for the above task can also be found in the same location for full access site account administrators as well. Note that the full account administrator would however have more options for editing and viewing in multiple finder locations that may not be available to limited account access teachers.
