Overview: The category section is where you can assign relevant categories to your article.

The Categories Section of the article editor is where you can assign any relevant categories to an article. Categories are a simple way to categorize your content objects under a common label that you can define. 

Categories are used for various needs with the most notable being to help easily define common criteria in which to create a query list to load in the finder and/or to populate a list of articles on a web page.
