How to Verify an Email Has Been Sent and Review Email Sent History

Overview: You can verify if a contact has been sent an email—or verify how many and to which contacts a specific email has been sent via reviewing your email history database. In this video we review several locations where you may look up this information.

The three locations to review email sent history are as follows:

  1. Go to the Broadcast or Sequence Email ID in question and in view mode, review the Emails Sent and Emails Delivered sections.
  2. Go to Contact Management/ find the individual contact record in question and in view mode review the Emails Sent section.
  3. Go to Emails & Broadcasts/Emails Sent finder and search on either contact ID, contact name, contact email address, or you can search on broadcast or sequence Email ID you want to look up.

Note: Full Partner has system code in place to ensure that a broadcast or sequence email can only be sent to a specific contact email address one time only. We do this by storing an email sent record and then doing a look up against this email history every time an email gets sent.

Tip: If you are doing a lot of test broadcasts or are testing sequence emails, and you have already sent your email address a recorded email for your tests, you will need to delete your email sent record for that email id you are testing  after each time to allow the system to send it to you again for subsequent tests.
