Associate a Form with a Course Registration

Locations:

  • Create the Form: Marketing Automation/Forms & Surveys -> Form Editor
  • Associate the Form: Event or Course Finder -> Edit Mode/Items Section/Questions Form Field

Overview: You can add a set of questions to your course or event registrations, by associating a form with an item within either a  course or event object. The form will show up on the registration page in the checkout process on the step where we collect the name and email of each registrant. The form can be used to collect any necessary information for each registrant and will collect individual contact information even in a multi-person, multi-registration order.

The completed forms will be associated with the originating order ID, and the completed form answers are assigned to each of registrant’s contact record.

Listed below are just a few examples of when this can come in handy:

  • Offer a contest entry form within the context of an event
  • Gather information on meal or lodging preferences for in-person events
  • Ask if the registrant would like to be a course or event assistant and ask for thier availability
  • And more...

Watch this introductory video on associating a form with a course or event upon registration.
