What is an Accordion, and why do we use them?

Accordions expand and collapse to present a designated set of article content on a single webpage without having to link to a completely different page to show the hidden content. Accordions are a good way to present a lot of information to your web visitors without taking up too much room on the web page itself and without asking them to navigate to an entirely different page to browse the content.

Because we use the article as the base for presenting content in an accordion, you can have a wide variety of content there including text, images, links to documents, videos, audios and more.
