Overview: Also located under Events Management/Events, Events are activities such as seminars, conferences, classes, webinars, lectures, etc. for which you can have people register for. Event objects are different from Products in that they take place at a specific date, time and location and most often collect a registration fee as part of the registration process. All these elements: dates, times, fees and much more are all set in the Event Object Editor. Courses can also be a type of event in theory, but Courses have more of an ongoing interactive and online nature that requires a different set of features and surrounding content objects to support.

Events are a very robust and full-featured content object. For that reason we have given them their own course.
