Create a Count Down Counter

Location: Content Management/Counters – New -> Count Down to a Date Mode

Overview: The Counter object is an animated widget that allows you to show a scrolling countdown to any date you wish to draw attention to.

Count Down Counter Mode: The countdown to a date mode allows you to show an animated a countdown of time that display Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds all counting down live to a specific date and time. This can be useful if you have a large sale, promotion, or event opening at a very specific time you want to create some buzz for.

How to Create a Down Mode Counter:

1. Go to Content Management/Counters and click New
2. Select the Count Down To A Date option from the Counter Mode menu
3. Review and set the following Count Down Settings:
   • Date Part (Days/Hours/Minutes/Seconds)
   • End Date
   • End Time
   • Time Zone
4. Review the Appearances section and adjust as desired
5. When done click Save and Close
6. You can add the Counter widget directly to a colum just like any other content.

Note: You will need to create one counter object per value you want to animate. So if you want a four across counter, you will need four counter objects, one for each value. You will want to have a row with four columns to host the counters, and in each column you add the individual relevant counter object. You may also want to give the counters a header. In this case you will need to create an article and put the header text in that. You would then add that to the top of the column that is hosting each counter.
