Adding Your Text - Cut, Copy & Paste

Overview: Under the Edit menu are some functions to Cut, Copy, Paste etc. 

You may need to use keyboard shortcuts Control + C to copy and Control + V to paste into the editor.


On the top of the tool set you'll find menu items.

Under the Edit menu you have undo and redo which is identical to the ones on the main tools.

We also have cut, copy and paste text as well as select all and find and replace.

If you find that your cut copy and paste tools aren't working you may need to use the keyboard shortcut witch are Illustrated to the right of each the pull down menu. 

To illustrate the way we copy and paste from an outside source such as a Word document is as follows. The best approach is to click and highlight the selection of text you want to add. Then you can do keyboard shortcut ctrl+c (PC) or command + c (Mac) to copy, or you can also right click and choose copy form that menu.

Then back over in the editor put your mouse and click anywhere you want to paste your text and 

You will need to use the keyboard shortcut ctrl+v (PC) or command + v (Mac) to paste.
