Ongoing Recurring Payments vs
Specified Number of Recurring Payments on Installment Plan Products

Location:  Ecommerce/Products / Product Editor -> Installment Payments Section

Overview: With a Recurring Payment Plan in Products, you have the option to set up an installment plan that ends after a certain number of payments, or you can set your installment plan to continue to bill indefinitely until the customer calls to cancel.

Utilize a combination of the following two settings to set up the recurring vs specified number of payments according to your needs:

Recurring Payment Yes or No

• Choose "Yes" for all recurring billing installment plans.
• Choose "No" if you just wanted to offer a trail price and then a single following payment due.

Stop Payments Yes or No

• Choose “No – Bill perpetually” when setting up a recurring billing product that you would like to bill indefinitely until the customer calls to cancel.
• Choose “Yes, Stop After...” and select a number of payments, if you want to limit the installment plan to a certain number of payments and then stop billing the customer.
