How to Add Assessment Modules or Tests to a Course

Location:  Learning Management/Courses/Course Editor -> Courses Modules -> select Assessment Module

Overview: Host course tests or quizzes or end of course review surveys in an Assessment Module.

 An Assessment can be set up to automatically grade the test and mark as passed with a preset passing grade, or have the teacher grade manually.

There is also an Analyze Results feature that can compile the results of the assessment and show the results in a graph format which is very useful for reviewing course metrics.

Quick Start Guide:

1. Select an Assessment Module from the  Add Module select list
2. Click New in that finder if you have not yet created that content
3. Add Relevant Content, Review Settings, Review Instructions and Questions sections.
4. Save and Close
5. It automatically adds the module to the bottom of the list in Course Modules section of the Course Editor

Tip: Building an Assessment can be an involved process, it may be easier to create your Assessment before adding it to the course. You can do this ahead of time by going to Learning Management/Courses/Assessment Modules and clicking New
