How to Add Chapter Modules to a Course

Location:  Learning Management/Courses/Course Editor -> Courses Modules -> select Chapter Module

Overview: Chapters work similar to Content Modules and are positioned to hold the first page of a new topic in your course when viewed in the Course Content index page. In this way, they provide an opportunity to host overview content for any of that chapter's  corresponding topics which can present underneath in the content list page as lessons (content modules), events, assignment, or assessment modules.

Steps to Add Chapter Modules to a Course:

1. Select a Chapter Module from the  Add Module select list
2. Click New in that finder if you have not yet created that content
3. Add Relevant Content
4. Save and Close
5. It automatically adds the module to the bottom of the list in Course Modules section of the Course Editor 

Click Next to proceed to the next content module in this chapter and follow in sequential order, or you may jump ahead to a specific topic by visiting the Course Content page for a linked Index.
