Create a New Order via Ecommerce/Orders

Location: Ecommerce/Orders/Order Editor -> Order Type Radio Button

Overview: In the following trainings we'll look at the steps for creating a new Sales Receipt Type Order in sequential order. In this video we look at the Order Type setting where you will choose between Sales Receipt, Invoice, or Payment.

Summary for How to Create a New Order via Ecommerce/Orders:

Click New Order, next you must choose one of the following Order Types:

  • Sales Receipt - this is an order to be sold now.
  • Invoice - this is an order to be sold in payments and can be in the future.
  • Payment on Invoice as the Order Type - this is to make a a payment on an invoice.

Note: You can create Orders in two places in your Account Manager:

  • Ecommerce/Orders -> New Button
  • Contact Record/View Mode/Orders Section -> New Sales Receipt Button
