Generate Coupon Code

Location: Ecommerce/Coupons-> Click New or Edit an Existing Coupon/Coupon Code

Overview: You can create the coupon code in one of the following ways. The code you choose may depend on if you want the coupon code to be easy to remember, or more of a random alpha-numeric code,

• Create a custom coupon code and type it in manually. This is often a good idea if you track a lot of coupons in your company and want to facilitate sharing the coupon or intend to do a lot of reporting, The code you create can have some meaning to you, and you may want them easy to read, say or remember. 
• Create a random number code by clicking the Generate Random Coupon Code button. This is often useful if you want a random alpha-numeric code that would blend into the URL and not be too obvious to the end user. You can still track and do reporting, but it will be more difficult to remember so copy and paste will become more important.

Note: Codes can be a combination of letters and numbers. Do not use any special characters such as % # $
