Create a Thread within a Forum Discussion

Location: Account Manager/Website Design Mode/Page the Forum is hosted on ->
Within the Forum, click on the title of the Discussion you want to build the Thread under -> New Thread Button

Overview: After you create a forum and place it on a page, the admin will need to create at least one discussion and within that at least one thread to flesh out the forum and prepare it for use by forum participants.

In this module, we cover how the admin creates a thread.

Summary of  Steps to Create a new Thread:

1. In design mode on the page you added the forum to, click on a discussion topic to create your new threads under.
2. click the New Thread button.
3. Give the New Thread a name – this will show to the forum user on the web page as a clickable link
4. Give the New Thread a Description
5. Click the Save button below the Thread editor to save.
