Add Documents to a Forum Post 

Location: Public Website/Page or Course where Forum is hosted/Discussion/Thread -> Post Editor

Overview: Forum participants can create new posts and have the ability to include documents (or images) along with their posts. 

Note: at this time images and documents are only supported in posts, not in replies.


Summary of Steps to add Documents to a Forum Post:

  1. Within a thread topic under a discussion -> click the New Post button
  2. Locate the Attach Document section
  3. Click Choose File or Browse button (depending on browser) to browse computer files
  4. Find and select the document file from your computer or device
  5. This takes you back to the post editor, repeat steps above to add more if desired,
  6. Click Save to upload to post

Note: At this time images and documents are only supported in posts, not in replies. Also, file size limits may apply.


Click the Next Button to proceed to the next content module in sequential order, or you may jump ahead to a specific topic by visiting the Course Content page for a linked Index.
