Product Discounts with Rules - Volume Discount

Location:  Marketing Automation / Rules 

Overview: Rules can be a very useful way to create a variety of more sophisticated discounted pricing to offer your customers that can apply to Products.

Examples Include:

  • Setting up tiered pricing levels based on quantities of an Item.
  • Putting a cap on the amount of items someone can purchase at a discount.
  • The ability to isolate discount to Items within a Product.
  • Providing a Free Product if other criteria are met.
  • With Rules, the varieties of options for discounting are almost endless!

For volume pricing discount, the regular retail price will be used for the first quantity range that does not get a discount. The first rule then would get created to handle the first level of discount price provided. Each item quantity price point will get its own rule, so create one rule for each quantity pricing discount. 

Below is an example of setting up a volume pricing discount.
