Sequences: Set Up to Send Automated Follow-Up Emails

Location:  Marketing Automation/Sequences

Overview:   Sequences are dedicated objects that house and tie together your follow-up emails with their corresponding delivery schedule.

For instance, you may want to send a follow up email immediately and send a second follow up email a week later. So you would set up a Sequence that has two emails assigned to it, each with its own scheduling rule that you can define.

You can then set up a Rule that will add a website visitor to that Sequence based on performing a specific trigger that you define within that Rule.

Rules and Sequences go hand in hand, If you have not already, please review the section on setting up Rules.
