Contact Editor – Personal Business Information

Location: Contact Management/All Contacts/Contact Editor -> Personal Business Information Section

Overview: The Personal Business Information fields in the Person Contact Editor provide for a place to store a contact’s personal business info. This may be different from the company they work.

For instance, a contact may own or work at a  company, but also have a side business that they would like to promote or display. In this scenario, you can use the Works at Company Filed in the general section to store the Company Record association, and use the Personal Business Information fields to store their personal business information.

See a list of all available Personal Business Information Fields In Person Contact Editor which can be used at import and/or as fields to present in a contact member directory or gallery display below.

How to Populate or Update a Contact’s Primary, Personal or Business Profile Information

You can populate and/or update a contact's primary, business, and /or profile information several ways:

  1. Import – You can import this data by mapping your .CSV (Excel) file columns to the corresponding field in the contact editor. If the contact is already in the system, you can still import, simply choose the update option on the import settings screen to add in the new information.
  2. My Account Page – You can set the My Account object settings to allow for a signed in contact to populate and update their own profile and contact fields. This may be the simplest approach.
  3. Manually – or, you can enter or update this data manually on their behalf via the contact editor.
