Contact Editor – Shipping Addresses

Location: Contact Management/All Contacts/Contact Editor -> Shipping Addresses Section 

Overview: The contact editor Shipping Addresses section is where you can create or find and update a contact’s shipping records.

Note: These records are typically created one of two ways: via an online order where a customer is going through the website shopping cart and enters their own shipping information as needed.  Or, shipping records can also be created in a back-end account manager via an administrator order within the order editor—typically done as part of processing an order that contains a shipped product.

You can also create a new shipping record from within the Contact Editor as well, which can then be called up and presented as an option to the website customer at checkout, or to the administrator during the order process. So there are several ways that shipping records are created and made available in the order process—the contact Record is where they are stored and easily edited.
