Contact Editor – Profile Section

Location: Contact Management/All Contacts/Contact Editor -> Profile Section

Overview: The profile Section of the Contact Editor hosts the primary fields that can be used to display various aspects of a contact’s profile that go beyond the basic contact information.  These fields are typically used to display information about your contact in a contact directory or gallery display.  Here you can also find where you can populate the custom data fields that you have pre-defined in the website settings.

See a list of all available Profile Section Fields In Contact Editor which can be used at import and/or as fields to present in a contact member directory or gallery display below.

How to Populate or Update a Contact’s Primary, Personal or Business Profile Information

You can populate and/or update a contact's primary, business, and /or profile information several ways:

  1. Import – You can import this data by mapping your .CSV (Excel) file columns to the corresponding field in the contact editor. If the contact is already in the system, you can still import, simply choose the update option on the import settings screen to add in the new information.
  2. My Account Page – You can set the My Account object settings to allow for a signed in contact to populate and update their own profile and contact fields. This may be the simplest approach.
  3. Manually – or, you can enter or update this data manually on their behalf via the contact editor.
