Contact Editor – Internal Info

Location: Contact Management/All Contacts/Contact Editor -> Internal Info Section

Overview: The Internal Info section of the Contact Editor is where you can set and assign various associations and settings that are considered to be internal to a Contact.

See the list of currently available Internal Info settings and stored data points below.

Internal Info Settings and Stored Data Points

The top settings include some important to Sales Force and/or Affiliate Marketing Including:

  • Lead Yes/No (Primarily used in Sales Force Management)
  • Owner (Primarily used in Sales Force Management but also Used in Limited Access Accounts)
  • Lead Source (Primarily used in Sales Force Management)
  • Referred By (Primarily used in Affiliate Marketing)

The Industry Information fields here are more relevant to internal fields to define the demographic of a company contact such as:

  • Industry
  • Annual Revenue
  • Employees

If you use any APIs or those codes may also be stored in this section such as:

  • Payment Gateway IDs
  • Salesforce API Data Points
